A special farewell celebration was held at our West Office on Friday, July 14, to give thanks for his wonderful efforts and service as CEO to our Agency over the years.

“To get down from our mount, and out from behind our professionalism, and being exposed to real risk – this is what characterizes the work of true social justice. Not disposal sympathy or left over generosity, but real compassion.”

The disciples had experienced the fullness and perfection of Christ's humanity, yet only now -- through the bestowing of the “tongues of fire” (the Holy Spirit) -- could they begin to understand the fullness of his divinity.

The new home is the first of multiple projects for our Agency’s Project Building Hope initiative, a $10-million, five-year plan to renovations to existing group homes.
