​Family Capacity Building provides a process to help families in crisis, or in the middle of challenging decisions, to create a plan that will enhance the strengths of the family and help resolve their issues.

We use a collaborative decision-making process, that is coordinated by a trained facilitator, and engages all relevant parties (immediate and extended family members, friends, teachers, social workers, law enforcement) is put in place.

Am I eligible?

Families who would like to take a leadership role in influencing decisions that affect them are able to benefit from this program. Referrals made by Saskatchewan Social Services Social Worker working with your family.

Where is this service provided?

This service is currently available to individuals in the Lloydminster region of Saskatchewan.

Pre-conference planning is provided either in the family home or in the community. Conferences are held in neutral facilities outside the family home.

How much will it cost me?

There is no fee for families referred by Saskatchewan Social Services. The Program Coordinator can provide you with details.
