Our most recent Sophia Talks discussed the origin of the word “catholic” and the public perception of the Catholic Church being a closed-minded institution.
An ambassador from the Vatican visited our Agency on Friday, March 3, reaffirming our mission to help society’s most vulnerable, blessing three of our ministries, and leading Mass for staff.
House blessing and renaming ceremonies have continued into 2017, with a focus on Community Outreach and Disability Service homes in Edmonton.
Staff in our four Edmonton-based Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder ministries hosted a Family Day Carnival that formed a stronger community with the people we serve.
