About Peter Ouellette

Peter is a Mechanical Engineer with an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He has worked in the steel industry, moving to Edmonton in 1989 to manage and eventually lead AltaSteel Inc. as President and CEO. He retired in 2006 to work in consulting, with a focus on productivity improvement within the mid-size manufacturing industry. He has volunteered over the last several years with The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul as a member of the Edmonton Central Council, and was elected President of the Western Regional Council five years ago.
