Counselling Outside of Edmonton

How much will it cost me?

This program may be covered by extended health care benefits. Please call your health care benefits provider to see if you are covered.

If there is no coverage, this program uses a sliding fee scale. The sliding scale fee is determined by the Counselling Program Intake Worker and uses net family income and number of dependents to figure out the fee for service.

Subsidized fees are provided through a variety of funding sources including the Sign of Hope campaign, an annual fundraising campaign for programs offered by Catholic Social Services.

Subsidized fees are provided for Red Deer from the Central Alberta United Way and the Sign of Hope

People living in the funding areas of City of Lloydminster, County of Vermilion, Town of Vermilion, and Village of Kitscoty are eligible for the sliding fee scale. Funders who subsidize the sliding fee scale include Agency Allocations, Lloydminster United Way, and FCSS from County of Vermilion, Town of Vermilion, and Village of Kitscoty. Specific to Town of Vermilion residents, additional subsidization by Vermilion FCSS allows a number of sessions at no cost. Contact Intake for further details. Those not living in those funding areas can access services for a flat rate fee.
