Do you ever feel like sometimes your emotions get the best of you and you do or say things you wish you didn’t later? Have you ever been told that you have a problem with anger and even if you don’t agree, this idea is a problem in your relationships with family and friends? Have you ever had a problem with how you express your feelings at work and gotten in trouble? If so, then we have a program to help you!
Take Control of Anger will help participants learn to deal with emotions and work towards healthy relationships is a 6-week program, running June 19 to August 23, that is designed to help individuals make real changes in their abilities to manage anger.
In this program we will look at what anger is, and why we experience anger. We will look at how anger is expressed and help participants look at what they do when they are angry, and how that impacts their lives and their families. We will be teaching solutions and strategies to recognize anger, reduce anger and manage anger when it comes so that participants can make real changes in their lives. We will also talk about healthy relationships and how to make our families even stronger. This program takes the time to help participants put into practice what they are learning and help with the challenges along the way.
